I got married almost 11 months ago, in August of 2019 and we worked with Lane as our DJ. I came across Kuhl Entertainment at the Alliant Energy bridal expo and when I approached their booth, they were all so professional, they didn’t pressure me in to booking, they answered all my questions, and it just felt like we clicked. I really liked their look, their sound, and their approachability! I came across many DJs at the expo after them but found myself comparing them all to Kuhl. I attended a second bridal expo and Kuhl Entertainment was there again, so I approached their booth, and again, VERY professional and kind (and different people than the first time around!)
Anyway, I knew it had to be them that I booked. I was worried the price wouldn’t match, considering they seemed very high-end. Much to my surprise, their prices were extremely affordable for everything they offered and well within our budget! I contacted them immediately, and met up with Lane a little later. Lane took the time out of his day to meet with my fiance and I for almost 2 hours (because I’m the type that needs to know literally everything) and he was so incredibly patient with us. We left feeling very confident in our decision to hire him as our DJ. We felt like we really clicked and it almost seemed like we’ve known him for years! He kept in touch with us throughout the engagement and offered his assistance with literally anything and everything. I knew absolutely nothing about where to start or what to do. He provided a list of traditional events that take place during weddings which helped the planning process SO MUCH!
Fast Forward to maybe a month or so before our wedding day, we met up with Lane to discuss final details and he was so willing to work with all my very specific requests. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by how well he handled each of those requests (like stopping a song at a very specific time mark and starting a new one right away, in the middle of the song where our favorite part of the song plays). He found songs that I couldn’t find and made it happen for our big day. He made sure to check in with us several times throughout the entire wedding day, remind us of certain events coming up (dances, cake cutting, etc) and even tolerated an unexpectedly nearly empty dance floor for the better part of the night, a moms disappearance just before the mother-son dance, an impromptu fireball toast at the end of the night with everyone who was still there, etc. Any curve ball that came his way, he took in stride and rolled with it and most importantly, made it work! I could write all day about what an amazing DJ and person in general Lane is, but the best I can do is tell you that Kuhl Entertainment does NOT disappoint and that I can not recommend them enough. They will work with what YOU want for your big day, not what THEY want. No matter how packed (or not) the dance floor is, Lane knows how to keep things moving.
I can not recommend Kuhl Entertainment, but especially Lane, enough.
