I met Kuhl Entertainment at a wedding show in Madison. I really liked the fact that their DJs are real music DJs, not just wedding DJs. My husband and I are huge music nerds, and it was really important to us that we be able to incorporate some of our musical interests into the wedding. We got off to a bad start with the company – the owner did not show up to our initial consult, and only let us know he wasn’t coming due to some family emergency when we called and texted him. We met up with him about a week later and had a good meeting. We had a lot in common with our music interests and decided to go with this company for that reason. The responsiveness of the company throughout the wedding planning was a bit spotty, but not a big enough issue to seek a different DJ company. The day of the wedding, our DJ Josh Landowski did an awesome job. I was very meticulous with how I selected the music for our ceremony, and he was spot on. He also did a great job playing a good variety of music throughout the night – lots of stuff to get people dancing, and our music sprinkled in. They were also very accommodating to provide speakers upstairs, downstairs, and outside. They also provide uplighting as an included part of the DJ service – this was AWESOME! Trust them to choose the lighting – if they told me they were going to put blue lighting in the giant bank vault at our venue, I would have said NO WAY. But it looked SO cool, very glad that’s what they did. Overall, a great DJ.
